In the video above, the following is said:
“Because of the worsening situation, the children are currently not going to school. But we believe in Ukraine’s armed forces, we believe in victory, and that the children will soon come back to play with toys and do their homework. Thank you, Denmark.
Thank you, Denmark!
Together to victory! Thank you.”
This time, toys, school materials, sports equipment and other necessities were handed to children through local aid workers and staff from the Ukrainian National Police. Because of the serious security situation, the help can only be brought in with support from the authorities and security personnel.
Sadly, the situation in the area has worsened. The front line is moving, and the local communities are constantly threatened by Russian drone attacks and shelling. Because of the increased danger, the children are currently not attending school.
Our partner from the Ukrainian National Police writes:
“Because of the threat from FPV drones, the children are not taking part in lessons for the rest of the month, but we keep bringing help to them. There is also no electricity, but using flashlights we managed to document the delivery of the aid.”
For us, this is another reminder of why humanitarian aid for Ukraine is still needed. Behind every box of help are children trying to keep a normal everyday life under extremely difficult conditions.
Støt Ukraine continues to deliver humanitarian aid from Denmark to Ukraine and to support children, families and communities living close to the war. We hope the situation soon stabilises, so the children can return to school, play and a safe everyday life.

She saved children from the war, now she is fighting for her own life
Some people never seek attention. They do the right thing because someone needs them. They save lives. They protect children. They keep going, even when it is life-threatening.
